I'll focus on gratitude for my time at Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt both broadened my intellectual horizons and nurtured the skills I brought with me to college. Perhaps most importantly, Vanderbilt helped me take ownership of the direction I wanted to go with my life, and it served as a foundation for my ability to grow confidently into myself. I was fortunate to form lasting friendships, not just with my classmates, but with faculty and staff whom I still connect with regularly (even if virtually now)!
“My Keegan year was one of the most challenging things I've ever done, and I'm so grateful for the experience it gave me. From it, I learned to embrace the fear of things beyond my control, and that humility is a form of self-confidence. I also came to appreciate that the magic of an experience is the memory you take from it, and I am grateful for the lessons I continue to learn from my Keegan year.”
