Kim’s project was an independent study in eight Asian and five African countries, exploring foreign private investment and economic development. She also studied spoken Mandarin for two months.

Kim is a senior financial professional with unique combination of transactional investment banking experience coupled with significant financial regulatory work in Washington, D.C. She has focused in recent years on impact investing, ESG and fin-tech innovations.
At Vanderbilt, she served as the Student Government Association President, was nominated for Rhodes and Marshall Scholarships, and was elected to various honor societies. Following her fellowship, Kim attended Columbia Law School.
